The Dignos group on facebook has grown so huge that we have covered the country from north to south. Total members now reach 226 and still growing. You can view the list of members here or in facebook.
We encourage members who have known fb friends belonging to the Dignos clan who are not yet members of the group to add them. This is a closed group so members are added by invitation. We aim to reach 1000 members by this year.
"Kaya ba natin guys?"
"Kayang-kaya! Dignos tayo, e." And by the word Dignos, which means - worthy, we are worthy to be called the most vibrant family group on facebook.
So, keep the ball rolling and may we hear from everyone soon.
Good luck!

Brigido Dignos Clan
This is a story recounted by my father long time ago.
Brigido Dignos was married to Gregoria Repaja (Paa), they came from Bogo, Cebu in the late 1800's (circa) and joined migrant farmers who heard news of abundance on a trip to a small volcanic island on the northern tip of Leyte. The island was then called Isla de Panamao. From then on they settled on a small community of Cebuanos in a place called later as Bunga, now under the municipality of Cabucgayan. This same Barangay turned out to be the most progressive barangay in the Province of Biliran (formerly part of Leyte province) next only to the Poblacion town of the Provincial Capital, Naval. Today about 99% of constituents of the place are Cebuano.
Bidong (my grandfather's nickname), while in Biliran, always came back to Bogo to join the fiesta, on May, with other neighbors. This gave him the connection of his clan,
The family grew while in the island province and they acquire at least 25hectares of farm lands planted with upland rice, corn, root-crops and coconut, among others. My father Manuel was born with a twin brother (Salvador, who died young without a family). His other siblings are Bernadino (Bernal), Ardiano, Jesus, Guillermo, Luisa, Maria and Matea (also twins). By the early 1900 (c.) the family moved to Davao Oriental as news of abundant farming also came to them from other migrants. My father was the only one who returned to Biliran and established his family here. All his siblings settled in Banaybanay, davao Oriental and spread from there.
My father and mother, Gorgonia Lepasana, were blessed with 12 children, where I (Romeo) am the youngest. I have 5 brothers (Francisco, Antonio, Manuel Jr., Agustin, and Rogelio) and six sisters (Julianita, Peregrina, Natividad, Matilde, Milagros, Florinda).
